Classical Concert

Chaplin silent film with organ improvisation.

This is a special feature to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the concert series „Weggiser Sonntagskonzerte“ – the screening of the silent film „The Kid“ by Charlie Chaplin. The accompanying organ improvisations are played by guest-soloist Dr. Michał Markuszewski from Warsaw, prize winner of multiple international organ contests and known for his hundreds of recitals at numerous music festivals and CD recordings. Since 2012 he is teaching organ and organ improvisation at the Frédéric-Chopin music university in Warsaw.
