Exciting Diving Tours around Vitznau

The clear waters of Lake Lucerne spread out over an area of 114 square kilometers – comparable to the city of Paris. At the deepest points the lake dips down 214 meters, lending itself to fascinating diving excursions. Whether for beginners or advanced divers, at Lake Lucerne there is a suitable place for every level. Snorkelers will also find exciting places to explore close to the water surface.

Elefäntli Diving Site

This diving site can be recognized by the small island which carries a small elephant made of stone. Experienced divers start their experience on the high steps on the banks of the Elefäntli dive site. Shipwrecks and caves can be viewed at a depth of up to 50 meters.

Brougierpark Diving Site

In the Brougier Park, both beginners and experienced divers can enjoy exciting underwater experiences at a depth of up to 40 meters. At 18 meters below the water surface lies a tree trunk with a horn attached. Opinions differ as to whether or not this is underwater art...

First come, first served: it pays to be quick. At the parking space near the entrance, there is space for a maximum of three cars.

Good to know: Between June 1st and August 31st, Brougier Park is reserved for swimmers and diving is not allowed.
