Classical Concert with Sebastian Bohren and Jonas Herzog

Phenomenal violinist Sebastian Bohren, former member of the Stradivari Quartett, hosts this concert together with much-travelled soloist Jonas Herzog on the 2-manual organ. The programme contains mainly duo works from the baroque era (sonatas by Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber, Arcangelo Corelli and Georg Friedrich Händel), furthermore a pastorale by romanticist Josef Rheinberger and an adagio by Samuel Barber (20th century). The focal point though is on the fantastic, technically extremely challenging andante by J.S. Bach for violin solo, presented on a historic violin originating from the factory Guadagnini 1761.
